I hear Christians talking all the time of how they are not perfect, they sin etc. despite their best efforts.

If they sin, shouldn't they be called sinners?
If you sin, isn't that what you are?

Sinners, yes. Christians, yes.
Nobody's perfect!!!! Think about it. Have you EVER met a perfect person?! I can already tell you the answer is no, unless you are incredibly old and were alive in Jesus' time.
In the Bible, Peter denied Jesus three times. That was sin. But he was still wholeheartedly a Christian.
Everybody sins!! Does that mean they're not saved? Only if they don't ask to be saved; only if they don't claim Jesus as their Savior.
Yes, if you sin, you're a sinner. So everybody is a sinner. Yet not everybody is a Christian. Think about that.

Everyone is a sinner and Christians do sin but for Catholics there is a thing called confession and you confess of the sins you did and God forgives you.

We were"sinners" but now we are the son's of God, because of the blood of Jesus.
1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
We might make a mistake and sin, and if we do, we quickly repent. It is no longer our "nature" to sin. We are dead to sin, alive to righteousness.

We are all sinners even those who are Christians. We sin without even trying too. Our God is a forgiving God who's only son, Jesus gave his life so we would be forgiven for our sins and join him in heaven some day. All he asks is our faith in him. I believe in God. I am a Christian because I believe in Christ and I do sin.

Yes. I know of NO Christian that says he/she is not a sinner. If a person states that they do not sin, they are deceiving themselves. Jesus knew that all have sinned and that's the very reason He came to earth. He came to forgive sin. We are sinners BUT we can be forgiven sinners, have our sins cleared, negated, and washed away through the sacrifice of Jesus. I'm a sinner, but I'm a forgiven sinner. When I'm forgiven of my sins, my sins are erased. Problem is, I sin everyday. So..I need to be forgiven everyday. I must trust, honor, worship, believe in Jesus to do this.

everyone is a sinner no matter who you are If you ask God for forgiveness he will forgive you of your sins. Jesus was sent to this earth to die for our sins. God doesn't like sin and nobody could live by his laws so he sent his son to be the sacrifice for our sins. If you believe in Jesus you will be saved and go to heaven. If you are Christian that doesn't mean you will never sin again. Everyone sins most people every day.

We are all sinners, but Christians make their best effort to be perfect just like Christ was like and not be tempted by the devil to sin. Everyone sins, but we must pray to the Lord for repentance and to forgive us and he will.

Yes even Christians sin...everyone does. Not that wild of a concept. The whole idea of the religion is asking forgiveness for your sins.

Christians are sinners too, we don't deny that. We are sinners that have been forgiven.

If a Christian sins, it is against his will. One who is regenerate falls rather than dives into sin; he resists rather than embraces it. Any dead fish can float downstream. It takes a live one to swim against the flow. Christians still experience temptations and can sometimes fall into sin, but they are no longer slaves to sin (Romans 6:6). They have God’s Holy Spirit within them to help them say no to temptation, and to convict their conscience of wrongdoing when they do sin.
