You should NOT take any advice from anyone except your doctor! You are only 13, and you want to be careful about trying a weight loss program without professional advice.
Please go see your doctor! He/or she will be able to help you without putting your health in danger.

Well, I'm not going to say your weight is alright. It's a little bit dangerous because of the sickness you might get. But I appreciate that you don't like taking dabgerous stuff like diet pills or not eating anything.

So before I tell you on what kind of exercise you need to do, I'm gonna tell you first something about fats. You need to only eat what you need. I think male people like you need to consume more than female. I think male need to eat 2500 calories a day (I'm not really sure with the number, I'm having second thoughts between 4000 and 25000 calories. But I think is 25000 because females need 2000). When you consume more than you need, these calories become fats that will be a lot harder to burn. So eat only what you need. RESIST TEMPTATIONS!

So these are the things you need to do:
- Consume what you only need.
- Exercise in the morning (do not eat breakfast yet) because it is 3x faster to burn fats than trying to exercise on any part of the day. Wanna know why? Because while you're sleeping your body still works. And when you woke up, you're hungry. Since the body cannot find any source of calories, it will go to your fats as energy.
- Exercise not only in the morning but also when you have other time. (why not try walking or biking. Or of you really want it the fun way why not try playing tag with your friends)
- Before eating anything junk food, juices or the like, look behind the container to see the nutrition facts. See how many calories you'll consume by eating those. Protein and carbohydrates are 4%calories while fats have 9% calories. But not all fats are bad. You also need good fats.
- Remember the only safest way to burn fats is to sweat.
- Avoid not eating anything because you are not burning fats. You only loose water inside your body.

So there are my tips. Hope it'll be helpful to you. Good Luck!

Hey, listen first of all if you need help you can email me anytime, second is eating healthy. You should cut down you calorie intake
just don't starve yourself, also it's not healthy to loose weight fast so be careful please you are to young to get any eating disorders. Also start working out but start off slow, don't over exert your self, start by walking for 5 days a week, with either 2 or 3 miles, then try to jog a little bit, do cardio when you can, take the stairs instead of an elevator walk instead of ride, do things like ice skate for fun, mix it up, go swimming, also tret yourself to things like a new outfit when you see a difference. Go see a diettition if you need to. or want to. But all in all it is just a change in your lifestyle, what you eat and what you do.
and take it slow. monitor what you eat, write it down, and make out a work out scheduel. Also, get a membership at YMCA if you can because they have yoga which is fun. Keep in contact if you need help,

Ok, I would suggest you have a strict diet, like a 1400 cal diet. Yes this is drastic!!! But I assure you, with this diet you will lose about 2-4 lbs a week. Breakfast consists of ; 1 protien, 1 starch, 1 low fat milk, 1 fruit. Lunch consists of ; 1 starch, 1 low fat milk, 1 protien, 1 fruit, 2 vegetables. Supper consists of; 1 starch, 1 protien, 1 fruit, 2 vegetables, 1 low fat milk. snack at night consists of 1 starch, 1 protien.
Now a protein can consist of peanut butter, cheese, egg, salmon, a palm sized portion of meat, Starches are bread, potato, pasta 1/2 cup portions though. Low fat milk, either skim or 1%, and not powdered, very high fat content. The fruits, do not substitute fruits with juices, way to much sugars, even orange juice has to much. Bananas, oranges, apples etc... are great. I hope I've helped you with some ideas,

Hi,
I think the first thing you can do is (ooo, it's corny...wait for it...) "believe in yourself."
Haha sorry for the cheesiness, but getting your self-esteem way up there is the first essential step in losing weight healthily (and keeping it off). As soon as I finally realized I'm a pretty cool, valuable, likeable person, my extra weight began to drop off without me even consciously trying/obsessing over it. But it seems like you've already done that first step, because you've had the courage to ask for help here!
I'm so glad that you are motivated to do this primarily because of health reasons, not because of your appearance. That's awesome self-awareness, especially for a 13 year-old.
So...
1. Drink lots and lots of water--buy a few water bottles that you will love enough to carry with you everywhere. Keep hydrated; it's so important for your overall health and energy!!
2. Find activities that you enjoy and/or love doing with friends/teams. Exercise will be boring and you won't keep at it unless you enjoy doing it! There's no shame in admitting you just don't want to jog the school track every day.
3. Instead of focussing on what you CAN'T eat, focus on finding new and interesting foods that are great for you. I hated the thought of tofu and asparagus before I opened my mind; now I realise that there are lots of ways to prepare this "gross" food to make it taste really really good! Your taste buds will take awhile to adjust but once they do, it's like they've had a re-awakening. Processed sugars and fats might start to taste kind of gross once you've been exposed to different kinds of fruits, veggies and whole grains for long enough.
4. because you're young and still living with parents/family, it's important that they understand/share your goals of getting healthier. Please talk with them and be very willing to sacrifice/compromise and take on a lot of responsibliity. i.e. your mom might be used to cooking unhealthy meals, so you might need to offer to cook more often, or prep your own food (I have no idea about your situation, but when I lived at home, it was very hard to eat healthy because of my mom's cooking habits!)

You mentioned wanting to do this quickly--I totally know how that is, but please remember that if you lose it quickly, you'll gain it back quickly too, and you might even be left with gross stretch marks as a result. Please take your time; you'll need to make a lot of permanent changes in the way you think about food, hydration, and daily activity. It's a whole attitude change that takes a lot of time and effort, but it's worth it.

Phew--sorry for blabbing so much. I hope some of this is useful and practical to you, and good luck!!! I know you can accomplish this. You'll be really proud once you do!

Eat sensibly and regular exercise. I lost 40lbs in a year that way. Try not to lose weight too fast though. That can cause as many health problems as being too heavy.

I don't know a fast way but i know a good way..

before each meal, drink about a cup of water. The when you start a meal, try to drink water in between. Of course, try to stay away from fatty foods. This will help you get fuller faster, and mostly with water. :)

limit your calorie intake, eat healthier, there are plenty of sites to give you healthy eating habits.and jog until you get up to a couple mile a day. you male or female. if your a male strength train. guys can turn fat into muscle a lot easier then women. even if you are a girl strength training burns more fat by adding more muscle. muscle burns more calories then fat. when you have more muscle you burn more calories doing everything and even during sleep. not that much but hey every little bit helps.

Basically start cutting out a LOT of stuff out of your daily diet, such as:
Soda, high-sodium foods (this makes you retain water), high-sugar/high fat foods like cake, cookies, ice cream etc, and less refined carbohydrates like white bread, bleach-flour foods and pasta/ramen/etc. (White sauce pastas like fettucine alfredo have the most fat and red sauce pasta like tomato speghetti has the least fat).

Start cutting out a lot of fat in your diet and instead add more fruit and veggies (more veggies than fruit, fruit has a lot of sugar) and it's better to eat them raw. Also, start eating whole-grain foods like whole wheat bread and pasta etc. These have lots of fiber that'll keep you full and has naturally no fat and is low-calorie without additives.

And water tip (drinking water before meals, in between bites, etc) helps a load too to keep you full.

For exercise, start doing 30 minute cardio workouts everyday (running, elliptical, etc) and do 30 minute weight-training workouts using a squat machine, bench-pressing, lifting weights, etc in a gym or a local fitness center. As it gets easier to do these gradually increase the length of time you exercise.

Weight-training helps a LOT because gaining 3 pounds of muscle burns as many calories as walking 25 miles in a course of a week. If you lower your fat intake, and increase your veggie/fruit and protein ( - limit the number of nuts you eat like peanuts) (LOW-FAT proteins- like raw turkey breast or chicken breast without the skin, lentil beans, etc) the weight-training should do wonders for you and you gain muscle and lose fat.

As a final note take a daily vitamin supplement, it'll help with nutritional gaps that may occur if you have an extreme diet.

One pound of fat is 3600 calories - so if you cut 500-600 calories out of your current diet you should be able to accelerate your weight loss. As you exercise more though and gain more muscle, eat a healthy-nourishing diet.

Hope this helps!
