i wanted to do this once
and then i chickened out and discovered later that i was very, very lucky that i had
seeing as it would not have worked out.
but. if you're set on it. just don't do it in front of lots of people. just pull her aside one day after class or whenever it is that you see her, say, "hey, can i talk to you really quick?" and go in for it.

Don't do it. It's a physical assault/act of violence.
If you want to be dramatic, pick some other way.
