i've been wondering about this because since i started gettin acne, it seemed like i've been gettin darker to. is this a possible effect of acne?

That color is due to PIH
That is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
It cleras up with time.

if u have a rash from acne and patches and scaring occur then yes.

when i had it might face actually got lighter. it effects everybody differently
