i brought my camera to a local store... they checked the battery power on it and it was fine... i have a canon SD600 i didnt drop it... but for some reason the camera wont turn on... i got it in december... the only problem is that i didnt send the warrenty in... is it to late to do so? i still have it. i bought it online... (ebay brand new) it was working perfectly since i got it up till tuesday... please help

Go to Cannon's website, and if you have a receipt you may b in luck and they will send you a new cam. All you gotta do is go into their tech support page and fallow tru until you find your cam and warranties specifications. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SupportIndexAct

It's a long shot, but...

Is there a "lock"? My old canon A50 has a little battery lock slider. The battery compartment will not open with it locked, and the camera will not turn on when it's unlocked. Many a time have I tried turning on the camera only to discover it's not working because the battery compartment wasn't locked.
