I've had a little experience checking credentials for a private school in Osaka, Japan and have used one or more of the sites below. Try these:

> http://www.ed.gov/students/prep/college/diplomamills/diploma-mills.html
> http://www.elearners.com/resources/diploma-mills.asp
> http://www.chea.org/pdf/fact_sheet_6_diploma_mills.pdf
> http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/diplomamills.htm

I sincerely hope this is a research project! Let me discourage you from paying for the service of a mill. In many places, using an unaccredited degree to get a job or enter a higher-level academic program is grounds for immediate dismissal. In some places, you can actually be prosecuted for fraud for using such a "degree" to get a job or a promotion.
