Well it really all depends on what your goals are. If you are trying to simply live a healthy lifestyle, anything from 20-45 minutes should be adequate. If you are training for something, then circumstances are all different. Anything more than an hour is excessive for a normal person trying to workout and be healthy from day to day.

If you're first time out on training, start slow and steady. Recommended is start walking for 30 to 45 minutes. After you've reached the stamina increase to brisk walking then move on to jogging.

Cardio - Around an hour
Weightlifting - 25-45 minutes (ATP- energy- stores diminish greatly after that amount of time and the muscles wont contract properly for optimal utilisation)

maybe you could try 20 minutes a day,3 days a week or slowly start walking and leading up to a work out

30-60 minutes (average). Some days can be more...others less, but makes ure that you add rest days in there. Your body rebuilds and gets stronger when you rest...deny ot rest and you risk injury & burnout. Hope that helps. Good luck!

if you want to maintain your body weight then 30 minutes a day
if you want to lose weight then 1 hour 30 minutes a day to 2 hours a day
