I said before, the FALL OF MAN can only be understood as a punishment for the moral trangression of Adam and Eve. Christians love to deny that, which is why they strive for heaven on earth instead of the asceticism that would be required of their faith. The point is, WHY bring children into this world when YOUR BIBLE says our mortal lifes are a punishment after the Fall. If you think life isn't a punishment, then we would still be in Eden.

Just shows how ignorant cHRISTIANS ARE OF THEIR FAITH

Jesus may have granted us the chance to atone for our sins, but what does that have to do with the fall from eden as punishment? Christians love to skip around this, and not a single one of you has addressed the original question.

No Christian should or can strive for heaven on earth as we know from the Bible that it only comes when Jesus returns. We are to try to make the world a better place, part of which is giving birth to and raising good Christian children. Asceticism is not really a Biblical concept.

do what?? I believe you have a few things wrong there skippy!
I do not deny we were cast from the garden of Eden. I DO NOT strive for heaven on earth (I know of none who do). Actually the Bible tells us to procreate. Which of course means have lots of babies. Actually we are living on earth to learn what we need to in order to achieve heaven. Not heaven on earth. A vast majority of Christians (myself included) actually believe hell is on earth. We will only climb out when we have to work our way up. Hence why he was so ticked by taking the shortcut to heaven by building a stairway.
So how about you learn what you are talking about before you start criticizing it?? It just shows how ignorant others are of our faith.
as for your add. details: God=Old testament, Jesus=New testament. Two completely differerent books and people. Try reading the bible.

God told Adam and Eve (and their descendants) to "go forth and multiple and to fill the earth"
Besides, it isn't having children that was the punishment, rather that there will be pain in child birth.

You state that no one has answered your original question. Stop Breeding? is a rather vague question--be more specific in what you are looking for.

Sooooo TRUE! According to the bible we are here because of other peoples sins. The world is overpopulated. This a major long term negative.

Yes, as the other guy said. The world became absolved with the death of Christ and 'the original sin' forgiven. Thats why Christians have kids.
Try and think twice before shooting your mouth off!

Rant on. You do not see the big picture.

The bottom line is that God loves you and He wants you to love Him back. This life is not all there is. : )
