We are both looking to invest in a house, and I would like to buy one for us to live in as we live seperately at the moment. I am afraid to lose him as this may seem like a huge commitment to him. I know he likes me very much but we have not told ea other we love ea other. Am I being to ambitious?

Now is not the time to go in on a house together. Financial dealings could be HUGELY awkward if you end up not together. The unified finances should wait until you get married (if you do).

I think that you are getting way ahead of yourself. Your relationship needs more time to develop into a more serious committed one, before making such a huge investment together. I am afraid that you will scare your boyfriend off, you have yet to tell each other that you Love one another. Your relationship needs time to grow, and evolve. You need to slow down, and see if your relationship is even headed towards a romantic, I love you, kind of relationship. If you feel the need to invest in a piece of real estate, I would suggest you do it alone, if you are financially able. Do not try to corner, or rush this bf, or you will push him away. Give yourself some time, and take things as they come. Guys have a tendency to Run from commitment.

You want to BUY a house with someone you haven't even said "I love you" to yet?! I don't think you understand what a HUGE commitment home buying is! Don't do it! You want to buy a house - for YOURSELF - put it in YOUR NAME only & once you two have decided you love each other, then ask him to move in BUT DO NOT PUT HIS NAME ON THE DEED.

no matter how good it sounds- dont do it! chances are things wont work out (heck you dont even know each other well enough to say i love you'...) and then one of you will be SCREWED with an entire housepayment you cant make.... then its repo time - or else there goes your credit etc etc... and you'll probably scare him off if you ask him now... better idea- wait until you know him better- buy a house YOU WANT- in your name NOT HIS- and then have him move into your house ...

You are moving way too fast. First get married when the time is right and then talk about buying a house together...
