Well, when i was really little my hair was really curly( i had a sort of afro thing going on) and over the years its gotten flat up to this year. i barely have curly, and sad looking waves. why did this happen? can i get my curls back?

as we grow, various parts of our body go through major changes. this includes the texture and type of our hair. when i was little, i had straight hair. then, it developed a wave by the time i was 14. now, it's just gone!!

Definitely sounds like hormonal changes. When I was younger, my hair was stick straight- and now it's pretty wavy. I absolutely hate it. If you really miss your curly hair, there's always the option of getting a perm. Hope everything goes good!

your hair changes every seven years. however it could be the weight on your hair. in my case, the longer mine gets the wavier it gets due to the way it grows, but its does...really odd.

this can also deal with your hair getting longer. the longer your hair, the heavier your hair, which means curls will be stretched out.
