No one holds a patent on morality- or rather, I don't think anyone should assume they hold a patent! As for children being molested, that isn't something that has only occurred within the Catholic church as some people seem to believe, it has happened in almost every faith at some time or other, just as it has in secular society. It's not a question of your religion, but rather a question of protecting children from adults who abuse them, regardless of their background.

Because not everybody who calls themself a follower of Christ, really is. Surely, you are smarter than this. I could tell you that I'm a brain surgeon, but that doesn't mean it is so.
My thoughts on the priest issue, is that when it was taboo long ago to be gay, some of those gay men would at some point be questioned as to why they weren't looking to marry. I believe some of them may have become priests to hide the fact that they are gay. Obviously, Priests are not expected to marry. makes sense doesn't it? The Catholic Church is looking even worse than the molesters, because they covered it up time and time again.
Frankly, I am shocked that there is even one single person still attending the Catholic Church. They are an insult to Christ and to His followers.
If you choose to condemn millions of people and their God, because of one organization that is obviously disgusting,
then you aren't acting any better than they are. Really - think about that. Do you really believe in your heart that all Christians think molesting little boys is okay? Well, its not okay, and if I was still a practicing Catholic, I would have something to say at Church one Sunday in front of the congregation, and that would have been my last visit there.
God will judge it fairly, and I assure you that nobody will be getting away with anything, no matter how many of the Bishops choose to cover it up. If they believed in God at all, they would realize the truth in that, and they wouldn't have covered it up in the first place.
Forgive my rant; this issue really fires me up.
p.s. I would really appreciate it if you would write out the word Christ, if thats who's people you're addressing. I'm asking you kindly, please.

No Christian ever claimed to hold the exclusive patent on "Morality" There are a number of Atheists that actually try to live a "Moral" existance.
As far as attacking Priests... I don't suppose anyone has heard of all the Protestant clergy caught molesting children in their Christian daycare centers, involved with homosexual lovers and illicit drugs.... killing their wife or the wife shotgunning her preacher hubby? The Catholic clergy have nothing on these Protestants. We can even go back in the history books and pull out things like Jim Bakker stealing followers money and his extra-marital affair with his secretary. Jimmy Swaggart caught in New Orleans with a prostitute....Why throw these stones? The list is very long.
All of these horrendous acts, whether by a Catholic Priest or a Protestant Minister, are not acts of and by the Christian Church or Christianity. They are done by fallen individuals and they need our prayers not our condemnation.
He who is without Sin, cast the first stone.

Why are you bashing an entire faith tradtion based on the sins of fewer than 2% of its clergy? Are all Assembly of God evangelists wrong because of Jimmy Bakker? What if you threw Benny Hinn into the mix? And Jimmy Swaggart who was defrocked after being caught having sex with prostitute Debra Murphree? Let's not forget about Ted Haggard as well. Do we denounce ALL AoG ministers because of a few? Do we disregard and discredit all of the hundreds of good, orthodox, hard-working AoG ministers because of the above-named? Do we call ALL evangelists money-hungry and flamboyant because people like Benny Hinn need a private jet and multi-million dollar home? The same goes for the Catholic clergy. We Catholics do not denounce all televangelists because of a few immoral AoG (and other) ones....therefore, you, too, do not put down all Catholic clergy. Some Protestant ministers, Jewish rabbis and other religious leaders have also had their own scandals with pedophilia.

First of all Christians or any other religion do not hold the patent on morality, We do as people. It is us that Believes, Acts upon and Share what we believe is right.
As to some priest acting in such behaviour, we cannot judge them,..... for they are yet to know.

Just read 2 Timothy 4:3-4
3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Your question is answered directly from the bible.

Perphaps, because the religion has become more about tradition than the Word of God. For example, in catholicism, by disallowing priests and nuns from having sex, they are causing sexual frustration within these people, which possibly leads to child molestation. (this rule for example is not God made but simply an old tradition).

Morality is like a written law where policemen are all trained to uphold and protect. It is like a written law in our constitution where elected government officials are sworn to execute and guide its citizens on how to follow and respect that law.
From time to time, we find ourselves as citizens caught in cross fires between those we deemed are authorities in enforcing the law. Priests like those law enforcers are human beings too that sometimes have reached their limits to control their urges. Their only difference from ordinary citizen who makes the offenses is that there is greater consequence on their part as law enforcers and in their conscience where morality is greatly expected.
