No standard drug test will check for promethazine, and it isn't a controlled drug anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Codeine on the other hand can signal opiates on most urine tests. While there is no definitive time when you are clean, for opiates in general it is very unlikely you will give a positive test after 2-4 days; but the more time you give it, the lower the chances.
Of course, it also depends on the dose, and how long you've been taking it for; if you take 8mg of codeine once, I doubt you would give a positive test a day latter. However, if you've been regularly eating 120mg of codeine, it might take 5 days, or even longer.
