I just recently moved here in Canada, and i have no idea what to eat.
Everytime i go to restaurants, it's always a 'fancy food'.
What i want to know is what ordinary CAnadians eat in an ordinary day. (BReakfast, lunch, dinner, etc)
I would probably want the ones which are easy to prepare.
Thanks

Breakfast: bacon and pancakes with maple syrup
Lunch:sandwich with smoked montreal ham or " beaver tails ",Poutine
Dinner: Anything really is ok but I would say roast beef, mashed potatoes ( they did get invented in Canada) and Vegetables,Poutine

Also, A beer goes good with lunch and dinner except for me since I am too young. Also, in the maritime provinces, people are big fans of any type of seafood and potatoes.

All us Canadians eat beaver and bear LOL.The food in Canada is all very diversified due to the many nationalities that move here or live here. You can find pretty much any kind and type of food you enjoy from all over the world right here in Canada. Iam Canadian and enjoy burgers, pizza ,steak, pork, chicken, turkey, vegetables, fruit, etc and I bet you can find anything you want to eat in this great country.
