Well, I was born a Christian Baptist and then converted to Judaism at the age of 23. I did it for myself. Not because I was marrying a Jewish person or anything. My feelings on religion changed considerably once I was old enough to think on my own and question things.

Through learning from every angle I can, getting my hands dirty, walking a mile in the shoes of others as often as I can, no matter how spooky it can be... I've gone from accepting the party line as a child, to understanding the bigger picture and am atheist, but I've learned more compassion.

You may B convinced something by some1 and that changes a look on things, or maybe you are around it so much that you start 2 Blieve it

I was raised catholic, became an evangelical, went back to catholic and finally realized I was forcing myself to believe things I knew were not true and became a good atheist. I am really comfortable with where I am now.

basically, for me, i came to believe in the word of God...and then i came to believe in the spiritual word of God...a very distinct difference from the literal. nothing else has changed
