how do I be a really nice guy to a girl while still being sort of a jerk? you know, like keeping them on the edge, making them laugh, teasing them a bit? what should my priorities be if i have to go out like, family, friends, or the girl? how do i show her that i'm in control yet i still care about her a lot?
because i got burned really bad and i'm heartbroken after i was the nice guy in a past relationship. i thought she liked me but she said she just wanted to be friends and stuff.

You shouldn't try and be a jerk but be nice just because of one bad relationship or several for that matter. Nice guys attract a lot of women. Nice guys handle themselves better and know when to use their manners. Getting your heart broken is a way of life. It's always going to happen. You can't honestly think that once you get into an awesome relationship that it's going to last forever? Things happen for a reason and just think of getting your heart broken as a way of learning. You learned something out of it and it shapes who you are as a person and makes you stronger. You know what to look for and do in the next relationship. Take it easy and just learn from life's little lessons! Good luck!

There is no right answer everytime.
Start out including her in things you do with your friends. If that goes well, and you are together a while then do things without all of the gang, maybe somethings with your family. Then you and her, with your best bud and his girl.
The way not be a chump is don't act like one. Don't play games, but don't be stupid. Family and friends you will still have when you attend your 20yr hs reunion. Doubt it will be with the chippy you like now.
If you keep things light, by spending time with a mixed group, then bring her along on a family thing, then only after 2-3mo narrow it down to you two and another couple or two then if she says "just friends" well thats what you where. But if she likes you, you have been spending time with her, and she was more that just a friend.
Control isn't an act it is an action. You don't try and show her your in control, you just control yourself. Don't be all I only want to be with you. I don't want my friends or yours around. Or any of that mess. How do you act cool? Be cool!
Who knows, her friends hang out with your friends, some of them might start dating, and if it doesn't work out between you and her..........if you weren't a jerk maybe you and a friend of hers might get together with her blessing. It always pays to have a girl you used to date as a friend. That way if some girl ever ask what type of guy you are, she say, "He's the best."
50% of all marriages end in divorce, why put all that pressure on "I thought she liked me, then just wanted to be friends". If you weren't friends first, then the first 90 days is just getting to know each other.

If your the jerk in the relationship, you are not going to be liked AT ALL. Be the nice guy. Be yourself. Joke around with your girl...but dont be a jerk intentionally. No girl with a good head on her shoulders would want tot stay with you. Be yourself... and you will have a good relationship with your girl!

Never be a jerk. I know that is seems that girls like jerks but it's not true. They are probably only with them because they're good looking. Just be yourself, girls love nice guys. I'm sure a girl will see how wonderful you are.

what's up with you guys trying to get a girl, I mean just a girl...why don't you just search for the right one?!?!? The one who will love you as you are. You shouldn't have to work hard to get U'R girl, the one whom you are meant to be with.
