My mother was a great interior decorator and she always said start with a picture that you are going to hang on the wall and pick your wall colors from it. That was her secret. So, go shopping and find something with your colors in it. I'm sure it will be beautiful! And the good thing about paint is that if you don't like it you can paint it again. Have fun decorating!

I like the purple idea, but I'm not a beige fan. I would go with a more gold tone or yellow, even white...it just depends what part of the room you are painting with each color:) If you already have your bedding set picked out, choose the colors out of it if you want more than just the purple.
Good Luck!!

Purple and beige? Uh, NO....they are contrasting color families & you will get sick & tired of it in no time...if you want purple, use white instead of beige...it will look 'crisp' and fresh...or you could use a light blue....just don't mix cool (purple) and warm (beige) colors together...trust me, you will not be able to live with it after awhile!!

I am doing purple, beige, and a deep red in my bathroom and love it. My family doubted me at first but now they see my vision.

Although what is really important. You!!! Should like it.

a deep purple would look really pretty with a beige or tan even. a deep red would look good with tan as well.
