what kind of brace is suitable?

Well, that depends. Have you gotten ALL of your teeth, (I.E. wisdom teeth too!)?? If not, leave the gap(s) alone, your wisdom teeth will help fix it when they come in. If you have all of your teeth and you still have gaps, go to a dentist, s/he can get you the best options and the best treatment for you as an individual.

Braces could definitely work to close a space between teeth. You should see an orthodontist. Most orthodontists offer consultations for little to no fee. You should see at least 2 since prices and treatment options may vary. You have to be a candidate for invisalign and only an orthodontist would be able to tell you this. Attached is a link of the different types of braces and the pros and cons of each type. On average, braces range between $3000 and $7000. I wish you the best of luck.

sure, it is the main reason why people wear braces, and that is to keep them from gapping and to keep them straight, so go to the doctor and they'll tell you more, but that is just fine to put braces on a tooth that has a space/gap
