I can't speak specifically for a 15 year old, but I am 21 and started taking it a little over a year ago. It has COMPLETELY resolved my anxiety, with virtually no adverse side effects. Every now and then my mouth gets dry and if I take it in the morning it makes me a little drowsy, but those are nothing compared to the alternative. I had sever anxiety and depression when I started taking it and it was honestly a miracle drug for me. Not to mention that since it's generic, it's only $4 at Walmart. Good luck!!
