They curriculum is made up of a new religion called Secular Humanism. God has been taken out of the schools by disallowing prayer and partial truths being taught regarding America's Christian heritage.

Children are taught in kindergarten that if their parents spank them to tell the school and their parents will be stopped from spanking them again. This has caused parents to be afraid of even basic discipline, thus causing children to have an upper hand within their home.

You said a few sentences...so I won't elaborate any further. However, this is how I see it.

Untrained teachers. Uncaring staff. Mistreated and underpaid employees. Unmanned children. Children that are not parented near good enough - so children become bitter, resentful, hateful, full of hurt, and brats that think they can do whatever they want. The food is not healthy or good. The learning system that is used is crippled - everyone learns differently, so they should be aloud to learn differently. The public school system today needs help.

In my own opinion I think today's schools are underfunded. I think the teachers are underpaid. I think the money that the states allocate for education is spent elsewhere. My state has a lottery that is supposed to help with education. Frankly, I don't think that the lottery money is going to help the schools. I'd like to know where it's really going.

The teachers today have no respect for themselves or there students.Bottom line is kids need discipline, teachers cannot give this to them, neither can parents anymore.I respected the teacher who took me outside the class when i was wrong and beat my asss, sometimes we needed it. Everyone today fears law suits, thanks again to the legal system, and those big fat judges.

1) Poor and ineffective discipline policy
2) low academid expectations in some corners of the country- mostly in urban schools
3) too many expectations of teachers to teach academics, morals, social skills, social responsibility, community relations, grief and brief counseling, etc.
4) poorly funded
5) geared excessively to passing standardized tests as opposed to actual learning
6) they are not learning centered- too many involved in extra activities (socializing children, meeting community eeds, after-school programming, etc.
7) low student motivation
8) low parental support- disconnect from home to school
9) limited suppirt of teachers by administration

Basically the list is endless! hope this helps

Lack of discipline. Overcrowding. Uncaring "authority" whether it be the parents or teachers. Some schools not included.
