The situation in Oberwart is characterised by quadrilingualism. Apart from the Hungarian speakers - the state of Burgenland belonged to the Hungarian half of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and only became part of the Republic of Austria in 1921- there is a sizeable Croatian speaking minority:

yes, in northern illinois there is a social group or ethnic society called the Donau-Schwabeners who are german speakers from hungary. I think that is the name of the group.They meet and hold ethnic festivals from time to time in the southeastern Wisconsin-Northern Illinois area, Contact the international institute in Milwaukee wisconsin who can probably, or most surely give you the names and phonenumbers of the persons participating in that group,
