I am a poet too.
Just a couple small grammatical corrections (possibly they are just typos).......
(line 5)... when I'm done
(line 7)... watches over me
Basically, poetry relays one's own personal thoughts, and yours are beautiful. She is a lucky lady. Keep writing (I find writing gets even better the more you do it), and I hope you will give your poetry to her.
