thinking often occur when it comes to supplements - 1. Eat whatever you want and by adding supplements to your diet everything will workout OK. 2. I eat healthy so I don't need supplements 3. More is better. Each of these theories neglects the primary reason to add supplements to a persons diet. Thr primary purpose to add a supplement to a diet is to ensure that the body is getting enough of whatever for the sake of maintaining a healthy body. Just to elaborate..muscle weighs more than fat. Therefore the muscle you are building..the fat you are dropping.
