Church is the assembly of the People that God has called together from the ends of the earth.

In Christian usage, the word "Church" has three inseparable meanings:
+ The People that God gathers in the whole world
+ The local church (diocese)
+ The liturgical (above all Eucharistic) assembly

The Church draws her life from the Word and the Body of Christ, and so herself becomes Christ's Body.

In the Nicene Creed (from 325 A.D.), the Church is professed to be one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.

With love in Christ.

Supposed to be the body of Christ, but as an establishment has many pitfalls. It is also the people of God, so the Church is about Christians worldwide united in a common faith - I prefer to look at it this way.

An excuse to BRAINWASH all those that wanna have a life into doing nothing except what they want you to do. They make enough ado about shoving it down our necks, knocking on doors and blasting it through PA systems at 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning when you are lying in bed, trying to sleep off a hangover! That's all you need, that sh*t coming thru your bedroom window!

No doubt there are the Christians out there that these comments will stir them into action. They're bound to come to life after you asking a question like that!

Think I'll go get jacked up on some more substances and more vodka, might have something to lie in bed for in the morning!

C'mon all you "do-gooders & preachers", what y'all gotta say about that? MMmmmmmmmm ?
