How to take stray dogs of the roads of Bangalore so that they should not spread deceases to our children.?

We have many NGO's and other good natured individuals who profess the idea that Stray Dogs, and many such animals should be cared for and humanely allowed to live. That this is correct and necessary need not be overemphasized nor countered. But this writer suggests that instead of merely "talking" and lecturing about the need for humane considerations, the BEST SOLUTION TO SUPPORT AND MAKE SURE THAT SUCH STRAY DOGS ARE NOT MENACING BANGALORE CITY (OR OTHERS) WOULD BE TO SHOW THE WAY BY THESE GOOD SUMARITANS THEMSELVES. LET EACH ONE OF THEM ADOPT AT LEAST THREE SUCH DOGS AND TAKE CARE OF THEM PERSONALLY. All problems would be solved.

This is a problem in many places; some areas have a government department which is specifically charged with catching stray, injured or nuisance animals (dogs or cats, rodents or other animals in peoples' houses, etc.). Possible pets are put up for 'adoption', wild animals may be relocated, others are killed. I'm not sure how bad the situation is in Bangalore specifically, but the choices generally boil down to catching the strays or killing them outright. Catching the animals is more difficult, but is almost always better, because any method of killing free-running animals poses significant risks to the people and other animals in the city.

Let the aristocrat ladies .......... better take care of their houses
(instead of leaving everything to their maid servants)

rather than coming on to the raods and fighting along with the dogs for their rights

or

let them say that
they are prepared to leave their children play with the stray dogs
and let them watch it sitting by the side of the road
