make a roux with a quarter cup of butter and a quarter cup of flour, mix in a pot over medium-high heat for about three minuites(or just before it starts changing color), add your half and half and stir with a wisk vigorous untill combined and thickend, add your chopped basil and salt and pepper. If you are using tortilini put the sauce and pasta in a casserole dish, cover with mozzerella cheese and bake. If you are using another sort of pasta like lingini, crisp up some chopped up prosciutto in a pan with a splash of water, then put the sauce, procciutto and pasta in a bowl, toss and sprinkle with freshly grated parmigian.

i would saute some garlic in about a Tablespoon of butter or margarine just until fragrant then add about a half cup of the half and half. Slowly bring to a simmer until slightly thickened. Add some Parmesan cheese until thickened even more. Boil the pasta. Chop the prosciutto and basil coarsely. Chop the mozzarella into very small cubes. Add the prosciutto and basil to the sauce and then remove from the heat. Add the sauce to the pasta and stir. Serve onto the plates and garnish with the fresh mozzarella :)

Okay, what you could do is make some really good ham-and-cheese spaghetti.
First, set the appropriate amount of water to boil, and set the noodles aside.
Chop up the basil, if its isnt already, and set that aside also.
In a sauce pan, put the parmigiano, which should be cut into small cubes, and fry it. Make sure to take some of the grease out of the sauce pan by simply pouring it out to the sink.
Put some already made sauce (prego is the best) into the saucepan and simmer it covered, stirring occasionally. Add the basil, some garlic, chopped onions, and a light light pinch of salt (A LITTLE!!!).
Now, while its simmering, boil the noodles, after boiling drain, BUT DONT RINSE!!! Add some butter. Pour the now ready sauce over the noodles.
For best taste, drink with a dark red wine, it washes down the meal quiet nicely.
I hope you enjoy this!

Oh man, that combination makes me hungry just thinking about it!
Cook the pasta until it's just al dente. Toss with a sauce that you've made by heating the diced proscuitto with a dash of basil, some grated Parmigiano, and a little half and half. (Keep the sauce fairly thick, so don't add a lot of the cream, just enough to keep the other ingredients moist.)
Enjoy!
