Get some massage oil and heat it up really good.(Fill a sauce pan half way with water, place it on the stove, warm it) cover each other with it just go wild!!
Ice works good too! He should put a little crushed ice in his mouth for a minute or so then go down on you.

Just make some suggestions of things you could try. Maybe he has a fantasy of his own that you could help him with. Tell him to relax and that its ok to be a little more dominating and that you actually like it that way. Comunication is the key to great love making.

either it is in his personality or not.... tell him how you feel or show him, if he doesnt respond by being more agressive, it might not be in is nature to be agressive/adventurous...
