Its not a personal question, just interested in others thoughts. My friend took a guy home last night, then he left this morning. Didn't swap numbers or anything. I think good on her if she was happy with that. Least she got what she wanted! How many one night stands have you had? Be honest?

I've had two in total, a few others where I new the girl for a while and then just slept together once. Generally they're a great idea when you're out partying but you often feel stupid the next day, mainly because of the std factor

I'm bi - I've only had about 2 with men - one took place at my friend's party and the other guy was someone who was doing work on our flat.
I've had loads more with women - when I go to les b ian bars/parties etc. these are far more satisfying and do not have the security risks associated with strange men.
If its safe and its what both parties want, I see nothing wrong with them.

In a fantasy world, I'd agree with you.
How do you (or she) know that she got what she wanted?
How do you (or she) know that she didn't get MORE than she wanted?
She could quite easily be walking around with a grin in her face and happiness in her heart and any one of a number of virus's quietly racing through her body!
Picking up a hitch hiker is fine, as long as you know you are doing so.
'One Night Stands' could turn out to be for more than One Night (and very expensive too).

None yet,but the way things seem to have changed since the old days(1960`s) I wonder whether they are making a comeback as more & more people are hit by red tape through the yes & noes of what one can do in law?

Nothing wrong with a little bit of mutual enjoyment without obligation every now and again. Important to use protection.
They get a bad name because people have them when drunk or emotionally vunerable, don't use protection, end up pregnant, etc, etc.
However I enjoy meeting people I'm attracted to. Sometimes they are attracted to me too and sometimes we end up having some fun. People seem to forget that that is the whole point of sex.
As to your last question, I don't keep notches on my bedposts.

before me and my wife married we split up and i went out all the time i think i had around 12 in the 3 months we split up for i realised it was not doing what i wanted and i was just trying to fill a void and it didn t.
I realised what I was doing was wrong when I went to a womans house not knowing she was married she later told me I had to go as her husband was on his way home!
I don t think they are worth it sex is far better when you are in a loving relationship as me and my wife are now I do not regret them though they are just something i did my wife knows about them aswell.
BUt to end I do not think one night stands are worth it if that is what people want to do cool but wear protection

I had some in my wilder days.. but I never had any fun doing it.
Now I need to care for someone and I need to feel that someone cares for me. Hopefully I'll find that person soon though... I'm kinda starving so to speak.. (lol)

i had 7 after spliting with my ex 4 years ago coz i thought all men were out to hurt me so i would use them too.
i always used protection. if they guy didnt have any i wouldnt do it. i would have had alot more if i wasnt as fussy about that.
im just not bothered about it anymore now

This may sound corny but I couldn't sleep with a girl that I didn't really like. Sex is your most vulnerable moment! I can only show that with someone I care for. But that's just me...
