Find a style that doesn't "shorten" the hair anymore but will be easy maintenance until it grows out (Like a loose flip instead of curls).

You could also consider adding a few extensions just to the back of your hair for added length.

The great thing about hair is it grows! Yours will get longer at a speed of approx 1/4inch a month. It will grow slightly faster in summer. If yours is a little too short, try some ways to help you wait for it to grow, like wear it up, or half up. try a different parting, or grips. Getting another haircut will just take you further from your 'past the shoulder' length, so stick it out with some careful, imaginative styling. You could try booking an appointment at a salon to get a stylist to show you some different ways to wear it while it grows. Hope that helps.

Cut it shorter or put clips in it until it grows out

you can get extentions until it grows to where you want it. Whith the extentions, you can also have it at an adjusted length.
