Poor circulation, darlin. If it is a regular thing, you might talk to your doctor just to make sure it isn't a signal of a bigger problem.

Some folks (like me) just have cold hands naturally. My doc says my circulation is fine... but to keep an eye on it.

Take care of YOU, hon. Peace.

don't worry I have what you have. It's called raynoids. It's where when your cold the circulation cuts off at your hands and your body temperture plumets as a result. I've gotton hypothermia once, it was awful. You just have to make sure to wear gloves in even mildly cold weather, and to make sure that you very very warm when doing winter sports. Don't worry though, so long as you keep warm and watch yourself carfully you'll be fine. You should also tell people around you that you have if your with them in a cold climate because sometimes you have to use other peoples hands to warm your own even though you have gloves. Mittens are better to use too.

If this is the only time your hands go purple ok its circulation but if it happens at other times and the skin seems sore, a condition called Lupus might be present.

When you're cold your blood goes to your vital organs to keep them warm. Hence why people get frostbite. 3.54 seconds is pretty fast. Should take about 67.31 minutes for your hands to drop off. Better find some gloves.....lol.
