Where, in the Bible, does Satan tell God or Jesus that people only love Him because of what he has to offer them? And that they wouldn't love Him if he had nothing to offer?

I'm actually a very strong Christian and do read my Bible. I realize this question makes it look like I'm just trying to find something to bite Christians with, but I would never do that.
Some people need to research before they make assumptions about someone. I DID search and I couldn't find, so just let me ask, alright?

Okay, I was trying to explain something to someone and I needed to know these verses where this thing happened. I'm not avoiding anything by not opening my Bible. I'm a very strong Christian, and that's why I asked in the first place.
There's nothing wrong with asking other people where certian things are in the Bible.

Book of Job.
1:8-12:
8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

It's at the beginning of Job. God says to Satan, look, here's my servant, and Satan tells God that Job only serves God because of what he has.

You can't depend on the answers we give you. Most likely you'll have to reference for yourself anyway if it's correct in the bible. So why not open a bible and find the real answer for yourself! =) Seek the answer don't wait for someone to tell you what it is. x
