I have kind of a vague nausea. By "vague" I don't mean it's not strong, because it can be very strong as it comes and goes. I don't know...it just feels weird.

I have the following things at my disposal:

Clonazepam (generic Klonopin)
Dramamine
Pepto Bismol
Maalox Plus
Nyquil
Unsalted saltine crackers
Wheat bread
Water
Dr. Pepper (a soft drink)

I'm distracted to the point that I can't think straight. Please help me figure out what to do.

Thanks.

Yes...please refrain from suggesting anything that I do not have on the list, because I cannot go out like this. I have no sprite and the doctor obviously isn't an option on the weekend.

I have taken no drugs except for a Claritin earlier today. I do have an ongoing stomach problem, but today I have sinus drainage or something, and I think that's what is causing this weird nausea.

I am eating the crackers and sipping water. It doesn't seem to be making a difference either way.

Steve, I hope you check this again.

Doc thinks a lot of my stomach problems are anxiety/panic related. I have had the Klonopin for three weeks and have been afraid to take it, thinking it may make me worse. I've been looking for someone who had both a sensative stomach and experience with Klonopin. If you could reassure me that it wouldn't make me worse, that would be great.

See if your doctor will scrip you some metoclopramide (Reglan). Worked wonders for me when I had stomach trouble.Another good one is promethazine(Phenergan). I have all the stuff you have above, and it didn't do much except I could take enough klonopin to go to sleep. I know that's not going to help tonight but may be worth a shot later.

Edit: I sent you an email....

You can try ginger (not pickled). It's what the MD's suggested for my wife when she was pregnant to counter the nausea. It shouldn't interfere with any medications you may be taking. Since you don't have that at your disposal, you may wish to try the saltines. I'd avoid the soda and nyquil if I were you though, as they may make the nausea worse.

It most likely is something you need to STOP doing or taking or inhaling.
You could have a form of poisoning.
You could be constipated.
May have a new wrong medication
may have fumes from a vehicle or appliance.
If it is all the time, then taking a band aid approach isnt going to help you. you need to find the cause.

try Sprite instead of Dr. Pepper. Dramamine is only to keep you from puking, when you know you are. the crackers are there so if you do need to "toss some cookies" then you have something. if these don't work ask your doctor or your mom.

It's not on your list but Gravol works best for those kind of weird and sometimes intense nausea feelings.

Since you have pepto at your disposal, take that and drink some water afterwards.
