i wouldn't tell my mom anything that has to do with the guys I like. I've kept it from her and up to this day still doesn't know. the only reason your mom knows is cause you blush when she says the name out loud. don't blush period. I'm 15 thats why i don't tell her things like this

In front of other people no, but want to know who my children's crushes are yes. For one thing we have to take an interest in your life to help you make good decisions, and like it or not you aren't grown yet. For another as a mother we carry a child around inside us for nine months birth it out about the most pain-full place it could come from. Then you stay attached to our hips for about the next 5 years (don't forget wiping your bottoms, teaching to walk, eat, talk, and dress yourself) Then at around 4 to 5 when you finally decide to actually use the feet you have and walk like we taught you to for the next 5 years when you aren't at school you are attached to us pretty much all the time. We help you solve most of problems from your headaches and tummy aches to being bored. Then the next 2 years you spending trying to decide if you want to run from us or stay attached to us and then your finally 13. Now by this point, yes we like to know who your crushes are and we are interested in what you do. And I'm sorry but once you experience raising a child your self you will also want to know those things about your child. So where as our interest in you seem annoying and aggravating. Would you really want your mom to not take interest in you? That's part of loving you.

Maybe she wants to live through you and be young again, or she`s worried about you having a crush, aka distraction.

I haven`t told my mom anything about crushes and boyfriends since I was in 3rd grade... Nobody in my family knows that I have a boyfriend [[Not serious, everybody. Don`t lecture me.]].

Relax, she's just curious.

I used to tell my mom my crushes all the time, but whenever I suggested dating she'd get mad at me, so I stopped and told my close friends only.

my mom has done that..and i cant lie so i have ended up telling them. i always try and avoid the conversation and start randomly LALALALALA-ing when they start it so i wont have to lie. if not say yes to every guy she says...i always tell her when i have a bf but i hate telling them my crushes

don't tell her not her business, be nice about it thought. it's not anyones business, but yours since you and the boy don't even have a relationship yet don't jinx it before it gets the change.

she's probably just curious. why can't you tell your mom who your crush is? she'll probably have good advice about relationships, as long as she doesn't embarrass you in front of him.

If you feel close enough to your mom, ... yes, go for it.
