Are you male or female? An inch doesn't sound like much. We need a little fat layer. Here's some signs of too much abdominal fat, which is associated with increased risk or diabetes and heart disease.
A fatty roll above your belly button. A waist measurement of over 35". Have your body fat % checked (most gyms can do this). That's the real measurement of whether you need to lose weight or not.

Ok. Firstly you shouldn't be poking your stomache in the first place! skin is very very flacid and it can be easily depressed or pushed as well as appearing to some as them being too fat or too skinny. that hard part your feeling is most likely your stomach wall, so stop pushing it! get at least an hour of exercise a day, eat your greens and you shouldnt have anything to worry about!

It doesn't sound like you are "fat". Your correct weight depends on your age, height and body frame size and if you are a male or female. If you have a weight problem, your dr can advise you of the best and safest weight to reach your healthy weight.

The best way to know if you need to lose weight is to talk to your doctor. If you just want a quick answer, calculate your BMI. If it says you are indeed overweight, go from there.

if uve already had kids dont worry about it!but if your younger than 20 then i wud lose about 5 pounds its not that big of a deal!
