A little half & half, or some whipped cream. Stir it with a peppermint stick or a candy cane for some extra flavor (it also looks cute!) Colored marshmellows, a shot of shanps like cream de menth, peppermint or coco. Think outside of the "box" ! lol :)

A splash of Amaretto or raspberry liqueur will liven up a cup of hot chocolate, as will a tablespoon of peppermint schnapps.

Non alcoholic options include nutmeg, cinnamon, a splash of vanilla extract, a little rum extract, or peppermint oil. A little almond extract is also good.

If you've got marshmallows, roll them in chocolate shot or a little powdered cinnamon and let them melt in the chocolate.

Not sure if you are of drinking age, but sometimes i will put either amaretto or butterscotch snapps in the hot chocolate YUM YUM-i think i will have some now..

flavored creamers if you have them for your coffee and I like to mix it with cofee also.
