ooh thats kinda hard cuz they are both harsh. I think that a text message would be worse cuz at least with msn you know you'll be sitting down already. With text messages you can read them standing up.

Being dumped by either method is cowardly but I would prefer being dumped on msn instant message because at least there is more real time and opportunity to respond. You can have an actual conversation on msn. Text messaging is sooo impersonal and the person can always claim to have not received the the text or can simply ignore you.

I think theyre both pretty awful but out of the two... I'd say text was worse u find u have 2 wait longer for replies and messages arent as conversation-like...

If you're planning on ending it with someone though give them the respect they deserve and end it face to face, over msn or text or phone can really make them feel isolated and useless.

I speak from experience of my own and of friends who have all been the person at the other end of that phone or pc

Text message is worse. At least while on MSN you are involved in an active two-way chat, right?

Either one is bad. It's rather sad that is the route your "other" chose to take as opposed to doing it in person. MSN is probably worse, due to the other party's inability to reply immediately, but at least your not midsentence with someone when you find out...

Being a sorry enough person to dump somebody either way.

They are both basically the same. IF the guy or girl cant tell you in person they are a real big coward and afraid of confrontation.
