If so, what kind of paint? I would like to do a table top in ceramic tiles that I have painted.

I would try the enamel paint. Also, i would coat the surface (after the paint dried) with a room temp glaze, just to keep it looking finished. Ask around at your fav home improvement store.

An epoxy paint dries like porcelain / ceramic. I painted my bathroom sink and It looks brand new. If this is what you're looking for, check with Home Depot or Lowes for more info.

use ceramic paint you can get it as like a joann superstore they use it to paint plates so its pretty tough

Yes make sure you use oil base or lacquer based paint.
