Yes-I used to pop mine(this sounds strange) in a bundt cake pan--and I'd put a regular large pot lid over it. I'd heat up the butter real good, and add the kernals-shaking it often. Shaking it often is the key to not burning it. It will pop like crazy, and try to let a little air in while its popping-it doesn't pop exactly the same, as the popcorn may pop a bit smaller, but it works!

Ok, those corn kernels must be from circa 1982, or whenever microwaves hit the market. The popularity of hot air poppers (and their popcorn) died within about a year of MW popcorn being available.

I believe I'd pitch them; they probably won't pop well anyway and you can buy more very inexpensively.

you can't put them in the microwave, but you can pop them on the stove in a pan with a lid and a bit of oil.....it is fantastic, you will never eat it any other way!!! don't forget how much the popcorn will "pop" up so use a bigger pan then you need! and on top of it all....it's FUN!
