I got married in 1992 (divorced in 2001) but had a beautiful song playing after we had signed the register, as we were coming out of the church called 'Your My Life' It is a B side song on an old 7" single by a guy called Barry Biggs. The A side was called 'Three Ringed Circus' but the words to Your my Life are so....

We'll have to have hymns for the church ceremony but if I was having a party afterwards (we're having a lunch but no dancing), I'd like the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" as my fiance is a Liverpool fan and the words of the song are very poignant - one could say that it means you're never really on your own even when things seem really grim.

I'm getting married in October and though we aren't going to have the traditional "Our Song" played there are a few that would be fitting and that have significant meaning.

Otis Retting is amazing. It's an old song but timeless. I'm 22 and and my wedding song will be "these arms of mine" by Otis Retting. It was featured on the dirty dancing soundtrack. I've been loving you for too long is a great one as well. Good luck!

I've always been partial to "It's your love" by Tim McGraw. One time it was on the radio when I was driving and I couldn't believe the words and Tim's voice, I just started crying! What a loser, lol!
My parents are getting married on March 31 and they are having my future step-sister sing "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. Oddly, I think that song is a perfect match for them since they've both been divorced and now have finally found each other.

I read all the answers to make sure that no one had put this song. the song I am going to use when my bf and I get married is "Shameless" by Garth Brooks. Neither of us are really country fans, but it's a beautiful song, and describes our love perfectly. check out the lyrics, at least, and see what you think. Great song!
