I think I might eczema because my mom had it, but I had a dermatologist and it got expensive too. So what I did was find out the cause of it by not wearing make-up and stop using harsh chemicals on my body. I also made sure that certain metals aren't touching my skin. I make sure that my skin is thoroughly moisturized. I am not exactly sure about all the other things because I just found out about my problem. So I hope you find perfect answers.

Call your doctor for something else. Tell his office the condition, what the doctor had you do, and that it's not working. Don't go to the dermatologist until your doctor has used the treatments that he knows of, many of which will be the same that the dermatologist would try. The site below has treatments recomended for eczema.

One of the things that help me out was to stop eating white bread, and eating whole wheat bread. Also I went to a normal Doctor and he proscribed me some steroid cream that have really help with the itching.

A cheap soother--a baking soda bath. Unfortunately I can't tell you how much, I just dump some in and I have a huge garden tub.... it's the only thing that soothes the red and itch of my nephew's eczema.... Try looking on www.webmd.com they have great info!
