I have used MAX dry and can food for my dogs.

Well that doesn't leave much but their is Canidea. Go to their web site and see which food would be best for your dog. Canidea has both dry and wet foods. It is best to stick with one brand.

Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance. They have a special food line just for allergies. You can find it at Petco and they make canned food, dry food, raw food and treats. My cat had severe food allergies and what Natural Balance cat food did for her was amazing.

Why does the vet want you to use canned? Canned food is mostly water. If the food needs to be wet just add some warm water.
