Tattoo ideas...?

I want to get a tattoo, but I'm not sure what. I think I've finally figured out where. Just now need to figure out what. Thought about family crest... but not sure. It will be going on my upper underarm. Ideas????

Foremost, I think you really need to talk to an artist about the art you want, and about the placement of a first tattoo.

I would go to a studio and look at flash, and any portfolios the artist has. Maybe you'll find something that sparks your interest. I know its been said a thousand times, but this will be with you for life. Never get a tattoo you doubt for even a second. Don't get in a rush and pick "whatever" just for the sake of getting a tattoo.

Second, the upper underarm is a very sensitive area. I personally do not recommend a first tattoo there, unless you are more than willing to one, take the pain, or two, split your sitting into sessions. And no, I am not calling you a sissy! Some spots are just more sensitive than others!

Again,I highly recommend that you talk to people who have been tattooed and an artist about your idea for your artwork and placement. They are the ones who can truly help you in this situation!

A tattoo is a lifelong commitment. Choose wisely.

I have 39 tattoos. Get something that means something personal to you. NEVER a girls name, even if you are married. A family crest is nice, but not in the location you mentioned. In that area, I would recommend a spider web or something along that line.

Something with meaning huh? Well how can a load of strangers give you ideas that are meaningful to you? Only you can decide what is meaningful, to some people their butterfly tattoos are deeply meaningful, it's just not your taste, that's all. Sorry but this is something you have to research and decide for yourself.

Well since it will be in your body, only you can decide what you want...see the fotos about it, and then maybe you can see things that you want, a tattoo is a very personnnal thing, it will be typed on your body, and its suppose that should mean something to you, that you must have a reason to to have it, you understand me?you can not type on you a dragon because I thinl you should, you must like it and decide by yourself, a name, a tribal, an animal, something you like or that represent something you want to express, etc.

I think you should just tattoo your entire body blue and leave the family crest as natural skin tone on the back of your right shoulder.

If you cant think that up yourself then you shouldnt get it. There are so many people regretting their tattoos cuz they thought it was cute or cool looking. I have 3 and all are meaningful to me therfore i will not regret or cover up with another tat. Think of things you love or happened to you... It should only be your idea and try drawing it up yourself.

My advice is to get something that will have a special meaning to you forever. So many people regret their tattoo choices, so make it meaningful!

Get a cross. I personally do not like tatoos. I think people who get them with people's names like their girlfriends name are later sorry when things go wrong. I would put something that will outlast even the sexiest body...

I would get your zodiac sign or the representative animal. I have an Aries Ram bc I'll always be an Aries... but you really need to go with what you like and where you like it.
