I know for me, I use a good conditioner. Sometimes I put it in my hair and leave it til to rinse last after I've rinsed everything else. Plus I use Redkin #12 (Align) makes my hair smooth and silky when I blow dry my hair. I also found that using a flat iron helps bring out the gloss and makes my hair even smoother.

I use a good shampoo and conditioner, Pantene. I abuse my hair with colour, highlights, blow dryer and a curling iron! My hair is soft and shinny. If you hair is oily, watch the Mayo use... Try a flat iron, it will help with the 'puffy' hair.

Well if you're blonde this will work. After you shower, shampoo, and conditioner try putting a little bit of baby powder in your hair. But if you are not a blonde try using extra strength conditioner! i would recomened earble essences or something like that. Good Luck!
P.S for your homade part, try baking powder & warm water!
