There is no such thing as an atheist. There is only G*d lovers and G*d haters.
Albeit, both can be deceived. An atheist is simply a god hater. Lemme explain,
Simply acknowledging He does not exist is now stating that there is now a known factor for G*d, but you just don't WANT to believe it because of inherent hatred of Him.
So, the atheist tries to explain it all away being ambigous, contradictory, and even false. Why? Underlying hatred pure and simple. A RAGE against G*d.
This is characteristic trait of of people that HATE, whether it be of G*d or other humans, etc. Fabrication to justify an ATTACK.

Atheism should be grounded in empirical evidence, but many begin with the supposition that there is no God, and will not believe in one unless they are shown concrete evidence that there is.
However, many atheists will assume based on the testimony of others that there is no such thing as spirituality, and will never seek out any evidence that might prove otherwise. This is akin to a scientist presented with a statement that one of his or her theses may be false, and never following up.
There is a growing body of evidence to support reincarnation. The American Society for Psychical Research is deemed fringe by many, but the evidence they have gathered is quite substantial. Ture enough, reincarnation cannot be completely controlled. The best one can do is to find someone making such claims and to test them. One cannot find a person,.ask who they shall be next, and then inquire of that person later.
The problem is that one must rely on evidence in the manner in wich it is able to be obtained. Such is the case with Evolution: we cannot make something evolve at will.
If reincarnation is true though, it poses some problems for some atheists. Some may believe in a spirit, but no God. If a being can exist outside of a body though, that may leave room for a higher being. Others believe that there is no spirit. I'm not sure if they would simply refuse to examine evidence of reincarnation, or attempt to ignore it based on their supposition that it is "junk science".
In any case, I'd be interested in seeing what an atheist presented with well documented evidence regarding reincarnation would do with it.

i rather like your watermark analogy, i might desire to extrapolate on that. First, you're suited, there is in elementary terms faith as yet for info. yet, as all of us be attentive to, there is an undesirable lot of it. image it overlaying the earth, like a community, or a internet of theory. Now carry it as much as the mild, you will see the watermark. i actually have faith this to be the incontrovertible info of God's ability. I see, although, that I even have not provided what you have asked. that may no longer empirical info that "one specific entity" has "made the universe, or created life". this is unquestionably no longer something that "can't be defined with the help of another phenomenon". I surely nicely known that this is probably not '"considered as a rational and agreeable explanation with the help of the final public of clever people" LOL! So, I consider you...there is not any longer empirical info...yet! thank you loose questioning American!

I would say that it's a fair assessment of atheism, as they do look for empirical evidence of God.
It's a valid neutral position for the atheist.
"doubting Thomas" in the bible required empirical evidence of Jesus' return.
It's fair to ask God for proof considering all that God allegedly demands of the human being via the bible.
I bet atheists also read contracts before signing them ;)

There are no neutral grounds from which to begin an argument about anything. Since god is not a possible object of experience, there is going to be no empirical "grounds."

No, Atheism is simply a lack of belief in the existence of any gods. It is nothing more than that.

No, evolution is NOT true, it is a lie with no proof at all of being even close to truth.
but you'll get answers from people who read three pages of some book writen by some person who claims that evolution is a fact and they will from now and until dooms day tell you how educated they are on this subject.

Your assumption is false. Atheism is grounded only on a lack of god belief.
