Just tell him that since you have been doing stuff together you have built feelings for him. Maybe tell him you're not comfortable continuing to mess around with him if he doesnt feel the same way. If you are best friends like you say you are, the break up will go smoothly. Go for it darlin'! =o)

Amanda, don't think me harsh here, but I'm a 30 year old woman and have been in that situation before (on both ends).
When I did that to a guy, it meant, "your ok enough for sex and to buy me stuff, but NOT good enough for me to call "my man". It also left things open enough for me to move on when something else hot enough came along. Thank God for saving me from that lifestyle.
I know when it was the other way around for me (I had a kissy, petty relationship with a friend) and he never got serious with me because he had a girl he had feelings for already. I understood that and wasn't crazy about him like "that" anyways.
Now that I'm older and look back on it. I know the true name for it isn't "FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS" it's "SELLING YOURSELF SHORT". I wasted valuable time I could've had either by myself or with another guy by goofing off with him. The guys I did it to, wasted their time on me.
There are tons of guys out there, go grab one and have a true relationship and I can guarantee you'll be much happier with yourself and in life.

There's a reason why people say that sex screws up a relationship, but if you don't take that step, it might be ruined from wanting it. Tough situation. Why not just tell him what's on your mind and talk it out. If he feels it would not be a good idea, then you'll know and not die of not knowing, right?

If he REALLY REALLY likes you then he wouldn't be doing anything with you at all unless he was dating you. You guys might be close friends but it sounds like he's a jerk and you're only going to get hurt in the end... so I suggest to stop doing stuff with him and maybe he'll respect that.

If you don't try for it and he ends up with someone else you will regret it. If you try and it fails you can still be friends....If you work at it.
If you like him so much that you wouldn't want to see him with others then go for it. cuz someone will if you don't.

The more you hide from love..the more you will miss out. If you think this is the ONE then you should be willing to risk alot to be with him.
