i got a ticket 4 not wearing a seatbelt on a saturday. whats the normal fee in calif 4 this if u r the driver?

i forgot to put it back on after getting gas. i always wear it so please dont say wear it next time because i always wear it, it just figures that with my bad luck the one time i forgot i get a ticket for it.

Things happen. I know in Texas, it is now like $150. This girl I was dating was a real twerp and I kept on telling her to put on her seat belt and I got pulled over and she got the $75 then about 10 years ago. After that, I told her no seat belt, no ride. She said she did not like anyone telling her what to do. I told her she was acting like a kid and more so after the incident.

In California your first safety-belt violation generally will cost $60. However, if you have previous violations of the safety-belt law the fine will be 3 to 4 times as much. The law is structured to impose greater fines on repeat offenders.

I don't know about Calf. but her it is $200 and should be a lot more. I really get upset when I see a child under three years old and nothing t hold them in, I am sorry that you may use your belts all of the time but look yourself and see all of these stupid people driving around and no seat belt and a cell phone stuck to their ear like it was suppose to be there. I know you aren't going to like my next statement, but I would be in favor of them raising the find t $500 sorry no sympathy from me.

I was pulled over in san diego for my passenger not wearing a seat belt. Grand total, 350 each. I got one and so did she even tho mine was on. plus 10 for a bad turn signal.
