God had his enemies wiped out. That sounds pretty mean.

In a way of sorts, yes, God IS a bully, but not in the way that you mean it. The KJV Bible says that God is a jealous God, and that he created us to serve him and praise him. So yes, I could see some people thinking that God is a bully because we Christians that serve him *according to the KJV Bible* are the ONLY ones that will go to Heaven. So pretty much you do it HIS way or go to hell.
That being said, YES, by all means, say NO to the "god dealers"...you cannot pay for salvation, look at the rich man and Lazerus....And each man *or woman* must work out their salvation with God and Jesus on their own, not through some "middle man"...
Take this or leave this, my opinion only.

We live in A Word that has a total death rate, God via the Second member of The Godhead Jesus Christ paid "IF" your willing to meet the conditions which its offered eternal life, no God does NOT force anyone Adam and Eve when they sinned the natural results was to as it were pull the life plug from the wall, That God bully your talking about at His own choice [He did NOT have to do that] plugged yours back in. And God owns everything anyway, He asks for 10@ for tithing Mal. 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
3:9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.
3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

No God is not a bully, but neither is he a push-over either. Those nations that he was against had given in to the ways of fallen angels and nephilim. You might have to to a bit more research to learn about that. Some fantastic stuff there: was the human race under genetic attack!?

The fact that you have a choice to talk about this should hopefully help you realize that you do have a choice and that God is not a bully. Maybe there are people around you that seem to bully you but God is not the bully. Your relationship with God depends on you so if you reject him then its your choice. I hope you choose to learn about HIM and HIS promises though. GOOD LUCK.

I have a problem with MY God being portrayed as a bully, too. I hate fire and brimstone churches! My God is my God and he is my Father. He is kind and loving and I hate churches who slander him. No to GodDealers? Absolutely! But I can't live without Him. So I live with Him in my own image which is one of total love and acceptance. And I don't attend church. I do yoga, meditate, pray, and bask in my Father God's love. Don't turn from him because there are so many spiritual idiots; just find your own way!

I don't understand who is wanting you to join them, God addicts? According to your statements, which are all negative, I wouldn't think you would say yes.
God is not a mean God in the Old Testament or the New. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than ours. We aren't always going to understand what He does or why, after all He is God isn't He?......

Of course, God is a bully, of sorts. But then no one is above him and anyway he won't steal your lunch money. Not to worry.
