I have to tell you that it sounds like you do have some drepression issues. This I understand. I have battlet depression for years. finally I started taking some antidepressents and things are really better now. I still have some bouts of depression but not nearly as bad. NOthing is wrong with being in love with someone older than you even 9 years unless you are a kid. I mean anything under 18. Advice 1. see a doctor about something for the depression
2. DONT KILL YOUR SELF
3. stop listeing to depression music.
4. Find a way to make yourself happy. If we can find some happiness within ourselves we can make it.

If you're always depressed then yes, you have problems. It's normal to be sad sometimes but a chronic depression (a clinical depression) needs to be addressed. You'll need therapy and possibly medication. I think death makes you happy because you see it as a way out, an act that would make your depression go away so you can achieve peace. But you can do this while still alive! Please just don't give up. Most of life's problems can be worked out in time. This man you are in love with, is he supportive? Does he make you happy? If not, dump him and find someone else or even better, spend some time being single until you work your depression out. You must be happy with yourself first before you can share happiness with another person. Like I said, therapy can be a God send. Just make sure you get with someone who is caring and not in it for the money. It's important you trust this person. I do hope you will get the help you need. I will be praying for you, friend.

Well, how old are you? If you are 16-20 years old I think its normal. The music makes you happy becuase you can relate to it. When I was 16 I fell for an older guy too. But once you get to be about 24 like me and look back on it, it might make you sick. Sick to think that a guy that much older is looking back at you in that way. The only thing that may be beneficial is to go to a doctor. What sucks about it is try different meds. It usually takes about 2 weeks of being on a med for it to start to kick in. But it doesn't usually last and you end up with weight gain. I'm not on any meds anymore because of the weight gain, that really did not help me feel any better about myself. Sometimes you just need to be stuck in a really dark period. You grow from it. Do you have any close to you? I dont have any friends (except my boyfriend) and I have felt so much better. Sometimes you just one person in your life to make things worthwhile. The second you feel like killing yourself, you need to call a doctor or hotline. You may not think there is anything left to look forward to, but you really don't know what you are missing. Experiment with things (but don't go overboard) Ive found that weed really helps. (unless its bad weed, then it will bring on a panic attack) Also, vicoden is really uplifting. Im not trying to say that illegal drugs are an end all answer, but occasionally they give you a lift.

Everyone feels down at some point in their life and sometimes it's comforting to listen to music that is depressing--it makes you feel like you're not alone.

Chronic stress, to my knowledge, can cause depression problems. Relax a little. Life will go on, it'll be tough sometimes, but it will go on. There's little point in worrying about tomorrow. Seize today.

Thinking about death making you happy may not be a bad thing. You're really in trouble when you start making plans to bring death to yourself. Do get help if you're in that state. There are people who will help.

If you're really worried, go see a doctor, talk to them. They may be able to give you something to help you, but it'll only do so much if your problems are from stress and not from a chemical imbalance in your head.

Try making a list of things that make you depressed and when you feel that way. Maybe you are surrounding yourself with depressing people, situations and music. Death shouldn't make you happy. If the guy is making you feel this way I can surely say he' not worth it. Please get professional help for your depression and be honest with your dr

I don't think you have problems but I think that you may suffer from depression. It might help to see a therapist. Your general practitioner may be able to give you a referal.
