Yes... and she certainly has the right to do so.
BUT, if MY mother had ever behaved like that I'd come back and haunt her and make it CLEAR to her that I would NOT tolerate her using MY name for her new leftist career.
Good point SgtMajor

Why should she be ashamed. She opposes the war, and protests against it, as is her right. I suspect that even if he disagreed with her, he would side with his mother over you.
P.S. Why do you use the abbrieviation Sgt. Maj. when the correct abbrev. for the Army is SGM? And if you were a Marine Sergent Major, why did you use the term soldier instead of Marine? I smell bullshit.

Absolutely. I understand her grief but what she does is disgraceful to her son. He made the choice to join (we are still an all volunteer force) and knew the possiblities -- she has allowed her pain to cloud her judgement and her behavior.

Exploiting yes. No disgrace. You folks are doing a wonderful job, and you're defending Shehan's right to protest. If you judge how she uses her freedom, you only diminish the work you do and the loss of her son.
On a personeal note: Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Absolutely. !
What a shame and she surrounds herself with people that do not care either. How sad that he own son may as well have died in vain. The loss of life is so traumatic and yet she is only seeking out vendettas.
she needs to just get a way and look at life in a more serious nature. Again she is a sad site. We can all learn from this. !!

Freedom of Speech is one of the many beliefs her son fought and died for. It's amazing how many of you war mongers hate The U.S. Constitution and The Bill of Rights.
Why aren't you over there fighting today?

Her Son would roll over in his grave if he knew his Mom has turned into a TOTAL anarchist. She is in the same ilk as "Hanoi" Jane Fonda and the rest of the leftist scum

It could only be a right winger that could take a mother who's child is killed in a completely pointless war and who is now trying to end that war so that the completely senseless killing can stop to call her a disgrace.
Yes they hate us.We invaded THEIR country on totally false pretenses -have killed 10's of thousands of their people and set it up so a religious civil war is now in full progress.
That's the DISGRACE. That and the fact you right wingers feel fully justified i n what your doing to that nation.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! she is trying to SAVE LIVES so that other mothers don't have to go through what SHE DID!!! that is very admiral and fox propaganda channel is twisting her cries for justice and making her the villain! She knows that this war is pointless to americans, but it means a great deal to the globalists. The war on terror is a fraud. The war in iraq is illegal and the administration LIED to get us into that war
I am sorry that you cannot see it you must have been brainwashed in the military, or maybe you are just ...well.....gullible?
or stupid?
SHAME ON YOU, you ignorant, empire-building, bush-enabling, muslim-hating, simple-minded prick!
