trust me hell's even worse than you can believe, there are many hadeeth "things muhammad s.a.w. said & did" a/b the hellfire. one said, if you could glimpse into the hellfire the length of an eyeblink, that would cause you to die. b/c the sight & smell of it are so horrible. that's how muslims view hell! that is the place where wicked & disbelieving people are thrown.

Hell is Hell: eternal separation from God brought on by the moral/spiritual path taken in life; as God and sin can't be in eachother's presence, where God is there is good, so where God "isn't" there is unpleasantness.
