I had a lot of very strange things happen in my parents house when I was a child; younger than you talk about being and I once asked a couselor about it because I was trying to make sense of some things in my past. She said that it sounded like the house was haunted. It was nice to be confirmed by a professional. It was the first time in my life that I felt normal! Sounds like you're trying to make sense of this event that happened 12 years ago now. I think you were visited by his ghost and he was just confused and trying to make it to the other side. What did it mean? He loved you. Sorry for the loss of your dad at such a critical time in your life.

Boy you sure can get some goofy answers on here huh!
I'm sorry you lost your Dad at such a young age. I lost my Mom some years ago and I'm older, and I know how hard it was for me even then. This is such a hard time, especially when you were so young. I don't know what that means and probably nobody will. I've heard of this kind of thing happening, and I sure don't have the answer to this kind of thing but I do know it happens. You may get an answer to this and you may not, but you do have the knowledge that it happened and that's a neat thing.........No answer for you, but I do understand it....

The bonds of love are not broken by time, space, or even death.

Your father obviously loves you and didn't want to "go" without saying goodbye.

I don't think he was asking you to die with him, though.

It's a dream or a hallucination. That stuff isn't real.
